Transaction fee
0.5% per payment, capped at ₦600
For example, a ₦85,000 payment costs ₦425. Any payment of ₦120,000 or more costs just ₦600.
Settlement fee
₦50 per settlement
A flat charge each time funds are paid out to your school's bank account, whatever the amount.
Your school can choose to pass the transaction fee on to parents. SMS reminders and receipts are free: SkulPay covers the cost.
Both plans include hosting, security, backups, updates, support and SMS messages to parents.
If even 1% of your fees goes missing, SkulPay pays for itself.

Questions proprietors ask us
Is the SkulPay subscription available now?
Not yet. We are finishing the subscription version now and will launch soon. Book a demo to see SkulPay working and to get early access, and we'll set your school up as soon as it launches.
Do parents need to download an app?
No. Parents pay into their child's account number with their usual bank app, by USSD or at the bank. They receive an SMS confirmation. There's nothing to download and no login.
Does SkulPay hold our money?
No. Payments are processed by CBN-licensed payment partners, and your fees are held by our partner bank, never in SkulPay's own accounts. The money stays there until it is settled to your school's bank account.
What about parents who pay cash?
Cash payments are recorded into the same ledger as bank payments, with the same receipts, reports and audit trail.
What happens if a parent pays too much?
The extra amount is kept as a tracked credit on the student's account and is applied automatically to their next invoice. It is never lost.
What if the bank sends the same payment notification twice?
SkulPay recognises the repeat and ignores it. A payment is counted exactly once.
Do we need our own server or IT staff?
No. SGR Solutions runs, secures, backs up and updates SkulPay for you. All you need is a phone or computer with a browser.
Is our data shared with other schools?
No. Each school's data is fully separated from every other school's.
Can we add academics later?
Yes. You can move up to SkulSync Pro for admissions, exams, attendance and timetabling without migrating any data.
What are the payment fees?
The transaction fee is 0.5% of each payment, capped at ₦600, so a ₦85,000 payment costs ₦425 and no single payment ever costs more than ₦600. There is also a flat ₦50 settlement fee each time funds are paid out to your school's bank account. Your school can pay the transaction fee itself or choose to pass it on to parents.
Can we cancel?
Yes. SkulPay is billed each term, so you can cancel at the end of any term and you won't be billed for the next one. See our Terms of Service for details.
